Ms. Kerry

Huh, what did she say?Of all the commentators that I listened to, perhaps Brett Hume was the kindest of all by describing Heinz-Kerry’s rambling monologue as “unusual”. In perhaps the least purposeful prime time speech at the Democratic convention, Teresa Heinz Kerry led us from the plains of Mozambique and South Africa to the concrete canyons of Boston…..All the while, not saying much of anything. If her task was to introduce John Kerry to America, she failed miserably. If it was to muddy the waters, she succeeded. As a matter of fact, because of the lack of direction in her talk, I’m not sure whether she was trying to get America’s vote for herself or her husband.
If Dem strategists are smart, they’ll find a local bake off and deposit her there for the remainder of the convention.
