Rude Awakening

Okay, it’s five-thirty in the morning. Barely awake, not having had my first cup of coffee, I turn on Channel 9 KUSA for the local weather forecast and am greeted by an ad in which a black lady is proclaiming discrimination. She speaks of her educational qualifications, her hard work, and her professional qualifications. She tells of loosing jobs and of discrimination in housing. Hmm…okay,I agree, that’s not right. We gotta do something. However, once we reach the end of the add, we are informed that the discrimination is not racial in nature; but, is due to the fact that she is a lesbian.
Let’s forget for a moment what I consider to be a lack of good taste on Channel Nine’s part and consider the fact, that on an increasing basis, we are being asssailed by propaganda from the gay and lesbian community proclaiming discrimination. Last week, in the on-line versions of both the Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News, there were pop-up ads focusing on the gay and lesbian agenda. Frankly, I’m sick and tired of being confronted with this nonsense by people who define themselves by their sexual orientation and who have chosen a lifestyle that is contrary to that of the rest of society and to the laws of nature. There has been much research regarding the genetic aspect of homosexuality with no conclusive evidence that it is anything other than a lifestyle choice. At the risk of mind numbing boredom and mental paralysis read this and this.
The elite among us, and those that consider themselves annointed, tell us that in order to be approved by society, we must accept, without question, the vacuous propaganda that they attempt to force feed us. Channel Nine, if you’re gonna assault me with this drivel, at least let me have my first cup of coffee.
