Conduct

27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.
Umm…This is a tough one for me. How about last night when I got cut off in traffic? How about yesterday when I was negotiating the price of a new car? Or closer to home, how about when I loose patience with a loved one? The Lord, thru Paul, doesn’t leave me any wiggle room. He very specifically says, whatever happens. Unlike my purchase of the new car, He doesn’t negotiate when He spells out His expectations regarding my behavior. My behavior is to be such that it honors and glorifies my Savior at all times; regardless of the circumstances.
Lord, help me to deny self and to follow your commands. Strengthen and equip me to honor you in all that I say and do.
