Commentary Appropriate For Today’s Changing World

Jim

As many of you know, my son Jim, owner of Thinking Right and fellow RMA member, became seriously ill three years ago and subsequently spent four months on life support. After three months of exhaustive in-patient rehabilitation at Spaulding Hospital here in Denver, he was discharged to finally return home. Since that time, he has been in the hospital no less than twelve times dealing with the after-effects of his initial illness and recurrent bouts of pneumonia. Last night we had to take him, once again, to the hospital where he was admitted in unstable condition with pneumonia. Would those of you that are so inclined please remember Jim in your prayers? I would ask that you pray, not only for physical healing, but that he might also feel a sense of love and closeness to our Lord. As you might expect, this last two years has been very difficult for him physically, but emotionally as well. Those of you that have experienced chronic illness and pain can understand what he is experiencing.

Thank you and God bless.

We’ve been praying for him, as well as your family. There’s a lot that can be said, but I’ll just leave the words of Christ to Paul in II Corinthians: “My grace is sufficient for you.”
