Fleas

This from the Rocky Mountain News, Letters To The Editor section January 27th:
‘A bad case of fleas’
The act of war deliberately and thoughtlessly wounds, poisons and handicaps the life-sustaining womb of all mankind. The Earth reacts, as any living thing would, when attacked. Earthquake, tsunami, flood, tornado, hurricane, mudslide, and resulting loss of life may be the natural emotional response.
We must behave responsibly and live peacefully or we may all be “shaken” off like a bad case of fleas.

Ummm…..although she doesn’t actually come out and make the statement, methinks that fair Millie would have you and I believe that the earth is actually suffering emotional distress; and as a result, is attempting to rid “herself ” of her annoying passengers. Perhaps mankind would be better served if we gently removed Millie’s tinfoil hat and made sure that her meds were re-introduced into her daily routine.
