AWOL

“Here he comes to save the day.” Umm…..well, not exactly. My sincere apologies for the lack of wit, wisdom, and well written, breathless prose. Er…, never mind. Multiple reasons for the lack of posting…none of which are acceptable. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get back in the swing of things and have something useful to post.

Much of great import has occurred over the last several days. All of it has been covered much more thouroughly and with much greater panache than generally found on these pages. Ward Churchill continues his stumbling journey toward the scrap heap of irrelevancy. The newly kindled flames of freedom and democracy in the Middle East, continue to gain in strength and brilliance. And, while the Republicans continue to helplessly flail their arms and weep crockodile tears, the Democrats continue their obstructionist ways in the Senate.

So, please allow me to leave you with these words from II Chronicles 22:13 : “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged.” And from the sixteenth verse of the same chapter: “Now begin the work, and the Lord be with you”.
