Update V

Even though Jim is still in ICU and on a ventilator, he continues to improve. The docs have discontinued most of the sedation Jim was receiving; so, he is a bit more awake and able to communicate by nodding his head and blinking his eyes. I had a long talk with his pulmonologist this morning and he seems to think Jim’s long term prognosis is fairly good. However, he will perhaps be facing some fairly serious surgery once he regains some strength.

As always, my thanks goes out to each and every person that has supported Jim and the rest of our family through your prayers and concern.

For those of you that frequent these pages on a fairly consistant basis, I promise that once things return to a reasonable state of normalcy, I’ll begin posting on other issues. Until then, God bless and thank you for your indulgence.
