Update IX

Barring new developments, this will probably be my last post regarding my son Jim’s illness. Good grief. Has there really been that many updates? As many of you know, Jim was sent to a Denver area nursing home for physical rehab a number of days ago. Because of a medication error either by the nursing staff or by the doctor, Jim received a huge overdose of medications. He was taken to an area hospital where he remained for almost a week and then was discharged to a different nursing home. When I spoke with Jim today, he told me that the doctor informed him that he would probably be discharged from the nursing home either Friday or Saturday. He. Will. Finally. Be. Coming. Home. How we rejoice as we thank the Lord for his unfailing love and care.

Once again, Jim will join the fray at Thinking Right, as he posts his thoughts regarding the incredible nation that we are so blessed to live in and on the great American political process.

Finally, I want to extend my gratitude for all of the love and support our family has received from the readers of these pages. God always seemed to direct the right person to these pages when we most needed them.
