Roundup

So, I said to myself, “self …… if your gonna have this blog, it might be a good idea to post once and a while”. And, self said back to me, “that’d probably be a good idea”. So, I guess I’ll try to write just a line. Or two. For those of you (all three of you), that have stuck around awhile, you’ve probably noticed a decided lack of posts. This is due in part to the fact that life has been rather chaotic around here lately. But mostly, due to sheer unadulterated laziness on my part.
Ahem…Where to start? So many events…all covered in much more depth and style than this humble blogger is capable of. The GWOT continues to be a hot topic; and will remain so, until we win. Our ally and indefatigable friend, Great Britain, has finally realized that it is not in their best interest to allow those that preach hate and violence free reign to say whatever they want to say. Unfortunately, the Brits are learning the hard way, that multiculturalism is not all that it’s cracked up to be. All cultures are not equally good….or bad. Imagine that.
John Roberts faces a tough, uphill fight in his bid to win confirmation as a Supreme Court Justice. The left and its minions will spare no expense or effort to derail Roberts’ attempt to join the “anointed nine”. Too bad. He’s a good man and highly qualified for the position. It’s a shame that quality of character and ability to perform the job will never enter into the equation.
Our borders continue to imitate one giant piece of Swiss cheese. Porous as all get out…. and completely undefended. It would appear that President Bush, and the entire power crazy bunch of politicians that he has surrounded himself with, is willing to sacrifice the safety and well-being of our country for a few ill-gotten votes.
So, that’s it. Just a short roundup. What incredible times we live in. Stay tuned….it oughta be a wild ride.
