It was not my intention to debate the existence of global warming. There are large volumes of thought by respected scientists that argue against it. However, my point was that this is not the time or place to be trying to score cheap political points and to further one's own political agenda. There are literally tens of thousands of lives hanging in the balance. I would just as quickly condemn those on the far right that posit that the hurricane was God's judgment against an "evil" city.
