Commentary Appropriate For Today’s Changing World

Patriot’s Day

Today, September 11, 2005, marks the the anniversary of the worst attack against American citizens in the history of our nation. Today, there will be far more eloquent words written concerning the events of 911 than those I write. However, this post is but a short reminder to those readers that stop by, to not forget what happened on that tragic day in 2001.

Don’t forget the shock, horror, and grief, that we experienced on 911.

Don’t forget the anger. Don’t ever forget the white, hot anger that we all felt as we watched the towers fall.

Don’t forget the thousands that died that terrible day. Remember that they too, were standing at their posts, doing what Americans do best, working to make this great nation prosperous.

Don’t forget those men and women in our armed services that have died standing in the breach, each and every day, protecting us against the evil that is islamofascism.

Most of all though, don’t forget to thank the Lord for blessing us with the nation that we call America.
