Reprise

The post below is a repeat of one I made during the last presidential election cycle. However, in light of world events, it is perhaps more to the point than it was even then.

Bush. Kerry. Who won? Don’t care. The only scorecard that matters is the one that will be generated once the war on terror is complete.

Sadly, we’ve gotten bogged down in scoring debate points, fact checking, talking about who looked the best (manicure aside), or who was the most relaxed. The only thing that is truly debatable, the one and only thing, is the war against Islamofascism and how we wage it [Eyes roll into back of head…Tongue lolls out….Here he goes again]. I’ll say it again. The. Only. Thing. That. Matters. Is. The. War. Against. Islamofascism. Whether I get to keep my tax cut or not is of no importance if there’s a suitcase nuke hidden away in downtown Denver. The color of the sunflower on John Kerry’s ski jacket doesn’t matter if my grandchildren have to face the specter of being blown into small pieces by a terrorist who has his sights set on acquiring seventy-two virgins. Whether or not George Bush can pronounce nuclear is of no matter if we all fall victim to the chemical agent, Ricin.

I will say it once again, these degenerates don’t care if we’re black, white, brown, yellow, young, old, rich, poor, gay, straight, Democrat, or Republican. Their only goals in life are the spreading of a virulent, perverted brand of their religion,dying as martyrs, and in the process, taking as many of us with them as they can. If, as a nation, we fail to accept these facts and act accordingly, we will end up a forgotten relic in the scrapyard of history; a once great nation, that cared more about manicures, government largesse, and political correctness.
