The fact leaders are democratically elected, is not an assurance that they are moral or concerned about the welfare of their constituents.

can’t say as i blame the Palestinians…..let’s say you live in your home for your whole life, your father lived there his father lived and grew up there for 100’s of years going back….them one day some guy walks up to your house and says, “gad gave this land to my people thousands of years ago, get out, it’s mine now”…..what would you do?
what would you do if they tried to change the government and the laws to make you leave with nothing and be homeless?
that’s what the jews are doing….it’s not right.
i don’t own the house my father grew up in either, and i can’t just show up and tell the people who have lived there for the last 20 years to get out because my father said that house would be mine when he died…
get my point? the jews are not so Innocent here!..and they have used as many bombs and weapons as the Palestinians have.

January 31, 2006 - 7:55 pmRegardless of how aggrieved the Palestinians are, it does not justify the killing of innocent Jewish and Palestinian children. Regardless of the amount of dialog that takes place on this blog, or any other blog for that matter, the Palestinian issue is not likely to be resolved. However, we can all strive to eliminate the killing of innocents.

How true. Sad to say, that applies equally well to the US as well.
