As If You Really Cared

Do you ever, those of you that live in warmer climes, reach the point where you say, “no more, I can’t stand another day of 90 degree plus heat?” You say, “yep, that’s me”. Well folks, me too. To compund the issue, I’m too danged cheap to buy an A/C or evaporative cooler. Soooo…I guess I’ve no valid reason to complain about my miserable state of being.
Usually, our temps will drop to the comfortable upper fifties or lower sixties at night. Recently, to make matters worse, we’ve had a low level layer of clouds move in every night, trapping all of the accumulated heat from the day. For instance, this morning it was 75 degrees at five o’clock. Highly unusual.
Things that bring relief:
Your response, “Humble scribe, what is the meaning of all this?” My answer: “No meaning whatsoever. I just needed to whine.” As if you really cared.

Very witty. I hope that you’re able to find some relief from the heat. It has been particularly unpleasant here too, but I’m not complaining. Short of a hurricane or terrorist attack, I’m staying put in my lovely new home on the coast.
