Meet Me Behind The Woodshed

Well, where’s there’s smoke, there’s gotta be fire. In the space of one short letter, ABC is warned not once, but twice, about how the public airways are free to those that “act responsibly”. It looks as if Bubba  ex-President, Bill Clinton is a tad bit upset over the implication [in ”The Path To 9/11] that had he acted with more speed and courage, we might have bagged OBL. That bein’ the case, Mr. Clinton decided that it was time to rally the troops and go into the attack mode. So…how does an ex-President go about doin’ that? Of course…gather all of your minions together, blow charge, and have them head directly at ABC.  ABC, not used to bein’ clobbered about the head by the Clinton whuppin’ stick, immediately took stock of the situation and in the finest tradition of the French, sounded retreat and revised the video to “more accurately” reflect events that were portrayed in their special, “The Path To 9/11″.

    Hi,
I’m sorry, I don’t know if this is supposed to be a religious or political blog. I don’t understand the parallel between ABC and the French. ABC is one of the most conservative networks on TV, being owned by Disney, they even air The 700 Club on the Family channel!
As a true Christian,(I happen to be a Moderate Republican), I would like to see the documentary, and check it against the 9/11 Commission Report before I attack anyone.

    Manny,

Fiirst, to clarify your question as to whether this is a Christian or political blog. I don’t5 feel that the two are mutually exclusive. One can certainly be a Christian and be involved politically. So…..this blog is a little of both. I normally try to address both issues. Recently though, there has been more political comentary, because of current world events, than there has been Christian. Hmmm…maybe the fact that my intent is not clear is a clue that I should more frequently address issues that concern tne Christian community.

Secondly, the issue about ABC and the French. My remark alluded to the tendency of the French to surrender when confronted with sticky situations. I was trying to hint that ABC would back down on this issue. Incidentally, recent events have shown that to be true. ABC, because of political pressure from the left, is in the process of editing out some of the scenes that don’t look favoravbly upon the left.
