Actually, I do believe that Saddam Hussein DID "have (something) to do with (9/11)" in that he is known to have funded Muslim terrorists, among other things perhaps will never be fully made public as to what Hussein was encouraging by his great grasp of cash gotten by illicit means.

The Left cannot seem to accept that Hussein was (and remains) an enemy of the U.S. and other nations, and that he was (and would still be if not in custody) involved in funding and organizing terrorism agains the U.S. (and other nations).

The fact is established (and has been for a while now) that Iraq, under Saddam Hussein, was for many years the organizational ground and territory for terrorist networks, used to foment their efforts. Probably Hussein was used as much by Osama Bin Laden as Hussein used everyone else, but it's erroneous (by the Left) to persist in the "Saddam wasn't involved in 9/11" meme.

I appreciated your response there to the naysaying, but I think it's important to reinforce for the Left just what a creep Hussein was and to what extent his creepiness while ruling Iraq assisted terrorism...the Left just can't seem to accept that because, if they did, they'd have to drop their complaints that invading Iraq and nabbing Hussein was a bad option following 9/11.
