Early Detection

While not drawing as much fire as the Pope, British Home Seretary John Reid, appears to have placed himself squarely in the line of fire from dissident British Muslims (’course that doesn’t take much effort these days ).  Reid feels that early detection of extremist behavior begins in the home and that parents of young Muslims need to step up and take responsibility for keeping an open eye on their children. As might be expected, any statement that even hints of negativity regarding Muslims, is a sure fire way to draw a crowd of angry Muslims.

Many Muslims feel they are unfairly targeted for suspicion and are bearing the brunt of the government’s tough new anti-terror measures.

Hmm… I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact, that to date, virtually all of the world’s terror attacks have been committed by young Muslim men?
