Commentary Appropriate For Today’s Changing World

Movin’ Forward

Good grief! I didn’t realize that it had been so long since my last meaningful post ( are any of them meaningful?). We’re still working on the site revision. Hopefully, that will be done and up and running within the next week or so. I’ll be interested in hearing how you (all six of you) feel about the appearance of the new site.

As we draw coser to election day, the screams of anguish and the wails of indignation from the left continue to rise in intensity and volumn. For the life of me, I can’t understand why the dems haven’t figured out that in order to be competative in an election, they must present some reasonable alternative to ideas that are already in place. I realize that it is far easier to criticize an opponent than it is to craft a set of alternative ideas…….but, come on, gimme a break. The constant complaining and negativity is startin’ to give folks a headache…not to mention the fact that it is drivin’ folks away. Hmm…uh…better shut up, lest I give the opposition an idea or two.

Huh! Well, so what! Looks like all the usual suspects are upset over the building of seven hundred miles of fence. Congress has approved the constructuion and the President says that he wil sign the bill. President Vicente Fox of Mexico, calls the fence shameful. Well, Senor Fox, it’s no more shameful than the deplorable conditions that exist in your country. Rather than complaining about and criticizing the construction of a fence, whose sole purpose is keeping illegal aliens from entering the US, it would seem that the time would be more well spent in improving the third world conditions that exist in Mexico.

And finally, Congress continues to amaze and disgust the citizens of a nation that it purports to serve. To what depths will the human soul sink in order to satisfy its many desires?
