Somethin’ fishy going on here. Why would an incumbant, running against an obscure, no-name candidate in an election whose outcome was determined months ago, spend $30 million to win that election.
The result was to deplete what had been a formidable war chests (sic) in politics down to a level that leaves her with little financial advantage over her potential rivals for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination — and perhaps even trailing some of them.
The above makes even less sense coming from a ruthless, calculating politician the likes of Hillary. Just sayin’.
