South Of The Mason Dixon Line

Hmmm….having been born, bred, and raised south of the Mason Dixon line, I’m not sure how to take this.
| What American accent do you have? Your Result: The Midland
“You have a Midland accent” is just another way of saying “you don’t have an accent.” You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio. |

These internet quizzes are silly, but this one nailed me. Beats taking the “Which Pasta Are You Quiz?”
December 1, 2006 - 12:33 pmPasta huh? Don’t know about that at all. Guess that make me a…uh, er, …..nevermind.
December 1, 2006 - 1:04 pmYou got the same result as I, though my second place result was “Inland North,” which I assume includes my native land of Michigan. I’ve frankly seen better accent & dialect quizzes online before.
December 1, 2006 - 4:59 pmPretty short and inconclusive.
