The thing that bothers me is that the idiots that are proposing this know that there is not a snowball's chance in hell of this going anywhere. It's just a blatant attempt to get their sick perverted agenda out in front of the general public. The idea is to ask for a whole lot <em>more</em> than you want, then settle for <em>less</em>...which is what you wanted all along. Yep…Kinda tough to stomach stuff like this. OK, I know it will never pass - but the fact that some nut job asshat thinks it MERITS a review, well, I'm spewing. For good reason. My husband and I are both unable to have children - so by this measure neither of us would have ever been allowed to marry. We've been married for nearly 25 years and have one of the best relationships of any married couple we know. Together we are a caring, compassionate, loving twosome - we've helped many people as a couple and I can't imagine how the lives of our family and friends would be today if we hadn't married.
