I certainly believe in parental involvement when it comes to the education of their children. However, this is perhaps a “bridge too far”

Gimme a break! The great state of Texas has enough problems as it is, without dealing with something like this. You’d have thought that this came from a “yankee” state or sumthin. This would probably multiply parental hostility towards schools by a measure of ten. At least.
